Dream School

Why
You would agree that most if not all children are curious, open, aware and very imaginative! Which is why we designed a framework for them to apply their knowledge and creativity. To become creative, critical and reflective thinkers and versatile practitioners. With better interpersonal skills and decision-making capabilities.
Our children are digital natives who have access to infinite knowledge. We must channel their energies and show them a path from distraction to direction, from entitlement to independence.
What
Introductory Camps with unique themes for children between the ages of 10 and 14. A unique learning journey that takes each children from something that is only in the imagination to prototypes that can be studied and shared. Followed up with Intensive programs in tech, media and design skills.
Our program/s allow the children to explore complex and critical themes. All the while engaging and integrating with the world, while simultaneously looking deep within, tapping into their talent and dreams. The children move up from explorations and discoveries to complete projects, thus learning how to shape arguments and ideas and become creators and makers.
Isn’t that what they deserve in their future world – more responsible creators and makers rather than movers and shakers 🙂

Summer Camp Theme: Water Smart

2019 is Karnataka’s Year of Water and we at Spread, are working with the government to encourage water conservation and promote smart water practices. Therefore, Water Smart is our theme for this camp.

How might we create awareness about water in every home, school and neighbourhood? Kids will come up with ideas, games and prototypes around this issue.

The Learning Journey

Note: Our programs combine elements from the Dream:in methodology developed by Sonia Manchanda and Carlos Teixeira that was recognized as a global game changer and tools and techniques that we have honed over twenty years of successful design practice. Further, academicians and professional designers have collaborated to design and deliver the Dream School Programs.
