Hospitals in general are very unnerving clinical spaces. How do we transform this space, breathe life into it, to make it a welcoming and calming experience for patients and visitors?
The design of Manipal Hospital Malaysia is inspired by art and nature. Elements of nature such as the dragonfly, butterfly, flamingos, swans, turtles, fish and the 4 seasons have been rendered artistically in 80 panels across 8 floors.
Each panel is beautifully crafted in a photorealistic style, with great emphasis to detail, so tat every leaf, every feather, every water droplet comes alive.
